Insurance Commissioner D. David Parsons announced this afternoon, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company will be returning $39.6 million in premiums paid by its Alabama auto insurance policyholders.
The State Farm announcement issued from the company’s Bloomington, Illinois office stated, “Policyholders will receive their dividend by check or a credit to current customers’ accounts over the next renewal cycle beginning today.” The amount of return to each policyholder will vary, however, the average amount of return per vehicle will be approximately $55.00.
