The cause of the fire at the Montgomery County High School -Home Economics and Agricultural Sciences building has been classified as undetermined non-suspicious.
Examination of the scene by investigators from the State Fire Marshals Office failed to identify a specific cause for the fire, however, no evidence was found to suggest the fire was suspicious.
The fire was reported around 1:00 AM Wednesday April 19th and the building was well involved when the first fire units arrived. Fire departments from throughout Montgomery County responded to the scene, but were unable to save the building or its contents.
