NOTICE OF HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a hearing
will be held at 10:00 AM on October 18, 2012, at the offices of the
Alabama Department of Insurance, 201 Monroe Street, Suite 502, Montgomery,
Alabama, as follows:
Adoption
of Fire Marshal Regulation No. 104 [Chapter 482-2-104], which formalizes the
practice within the State Fire Marshal’s office preceding the effective date of
this regulation to set the fee for requesting approval of an emergency
variation from the requirements of the Alabama Explosives Safety Act of 1993. (3 pages)
Adoption
of Preneed Regulation No. 2 [Chapter 482-3-002], which formalizes
the practice within the Department of Insurance preceding the effective date of
this regulation to set various fees and fine amounts authorized in the Alabama
Preneed Funeral and Cemetery Act of 2002. (3 pages)
Revision
of Insurance Regulation No. 110 [Chapter 482-1-110], which sets forth the
procedures necessary for the renewal of licenses of insurance producers and
service representatives and implements the continuing education requirements
for producers and service representatives.
The revisions encompass changes necessitated by Act 2012-312. (17 pages)
Adoption
of Insurance Regulation No. 147 [Chapter 482-1-147], which sets forth the rules and procedural requirements the Commissioner deems necessary
to carry out the provisions of Chapter 7 of Ala. Code Tit. 27 relating to the
licensing and appointment of insurance producers, temporary producers, and
service representatives; the authorization of prelicensing course providers and
approval of prelicensing courses; and the various types of disciplinary action
concerning licenses and grants of authority.

of Insurance Regulation No. 148 [Chapter 482-1-148], which sets forth
the rules and procedural requirements the Commissioner deems necessary to carry
out the provisions of Chapter 25 of Ala. Code Tit. 27
relating to the licensing of title insurance agent licenses and
appointments; the authorization of prelicensing
course providers and approval of prelicensing courses; the various types of
disciplinary action concerning licenses and grants of authority; the
renewal of licenses of title insurance agents; and continuing education for
title insurance agents; as necessitated
by Act 2012-397. (29

of Insurance Regulation No. 151 [Chapter 482-1-151], which sets forth the rules and procedural requirements the Commissioner deems necessary
to carry out the provisions of Chapter 9A of Ala. Code Tit. 27 relating to the
licensing of independent adjusters, apprentice independent adjusters, and
emergency independent adjusters; the authorization of prelicensing course
providers and approval of prelicensing courses; the various types of
disciplinary action concerning licenses and grants of authority; the
renewal of licenses of independent adjusters; and continuing education for
independent adjusters; as
necessitated by Act 2011-637. (31
