An early morning house fire at 390 kingston Drive in Pike Road near Waugh on September 16 has resulted in Burglary 3rd and Arson 2nd charges against an ex-boyfriend of the home's resident. 38 year old John Henry McIntyre allegedly broke in to the home of Latoya Allen and set fire to the residence. Pike Road Firefighters responded at 2:30 a.m. on the 16th and was able to contain the fire with only minor damage. Three days later, (9/19/11) Crime scene investigators from the Alabama State Fire Marshal's Office and the Montgomery County Sherriff's Office placed McIntyre in the Montgomery County Jail.
