Revision of Section 4 of Regulation No. 110 [Rule 482-1-110-.04], which sets forth the procedures necessary for the annual renewal of licenses of insurance producers.  The revisions encompass changes necessary to require the annual renewal of business entity producer licenses through the Department’s Web site.  These are the same revisions proposed at the hearing held on September 5, 2007, but are being re-heard due to the failure of one newspaper to publish the statutorily required notice.  (2 pages)

Adoption of new Regulation No. 140 [Chapter 482-1-140], to be known as the Military Sales Regulation.  The purpose of the new regulation is to set forth standards to protect active duty service members of the United States Armed Forces from dishonest and predatory insurance sales practices by declaring certain identified practices to be false, misleading, deceptive or unfair.  This is the same proposed new regulation subject to hearing held on September 5, 2007, but is being re-heard due to the failure of one newspaper to publish the statutorily required notice.  (12 pages)
