A 17-year-old Letohatchee resident has been charged with burglarizing and setting fire to a Fort Deposit police officers home.
Willie Edward Thigpen was charged with first-degree arson, giving him adult offender status. He was also charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree theft of property.
Among the items Thigpen is accused of taking in the burglary was Officer Curtis Campbell's service weapon.
Thigpen is in custody in the Lowndes County Jail. His bond is set at $30,000
