The remains of a Mobile County woman were found in the rubble of a house fire early Wednesday morning.
Peggy Pettus, 61, died in the blaze. The Alabama State Fire Marshals Office has determined that the fire was intentionally set, and are considering Pettus' death a homicide.
Prichard fire officials were notified of the fire at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The investigation continues.
