A Walker County man died early Wednesday morning in a fire at his mobile home.
Spencer Cooper Austin, 37, of Sumiton, died in the fire. Neighbors indicated that the fire began in the kitchen area of the mobile home, but the Alabama State Fire Marshals Office and the Walker County Sheriff's Department are investigating.
