One Andalusia resident was charged with Arson Second Degree earlier today regarding a fire that occurred Sunday night.
Janice Fowler Calloway, age 43, of 634 West Watson Street was charged following an investigation by the Andalusia Fire Department, Covington County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama State Fire Marshals Office. The fire, at 726 Dunson Street, was reported to the Andalusia Fire Department at 10:57 P.M..
Calloway is charged with setting fire to a vacant residence belonging to Santa Fe Navarre. Calloway is currently being held in the Covington County Jail under a $20,000 bond. No injuries were reported.
