Investigators with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Alabama State Fire Marshals Office have determined the fire at the Sandridge Baptist Church near Selma was intentionally set.
Fire departments were called to the scene Monday morning October 7th around 12:30. The church located at 5024 County Road 77, also known as Kings Bend Road, was a total loss.
Except for the fire being classified as an arson, investigators are not releasing any additional details of the investigation at this time.
