The Alabama Department of Insurance will visit Auburn on August 7th to talk to residents about insurance. The Department is sponsoring an outreach program throughout the state to educate and inform residents about insurance issues and the services provided by the Department.
“The Department’s intention is to raise the level of awareness regarding insurance and provide an opportunity for Alabama residents to become familiar with their insurance department,” says Insurance Commissioner David Parsons.
Representatives from the Department will be available to answer insurance related questions in the areas of Health, Automobile, Life, Annuities, Homeowners, Disability, Business, Medigap and Long Term Care policies.
