One person was killed Sunday afternoon when fire destroyed a mobile home in Escambia County.
Donald Herman Kilcreas, age 46, was killed when fire swept through his mobile home at Lot 32 Cliff Landing Road, Bay Minette. An eyewitness reported gasoline was intentionally poured inside the home prior to the fire. The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Mobile confirmed Mr. Kilcreas died from smoke inhalation.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Escambia County Sheriff's office and the State Fire Marshals Office.
