Local and state authorities have arrested three people in connection with multiple fires in the Alabama Village section of Prichard.
Two adults and one juvenile have been charged as of this morning. The adults, William Wayne Dearman age 19 and Demetrius Andrews age 19 were charged along with a 17 year old juvenile. Dearman has been charged with three counts of Arson Second Degree and Andrews with two counts of Arson Second Degree. The juvenile has been charged with three counts of Arson Second Degree.
The arrests are a result of an on-going investigation by the Prichard Fire and Police Departments and the Alabama State Fire Marshals Office into suspicious fires in Alabama Village this year. The investigation continues to move forward and additional arrests are anticipated.
