Public hearings will be held before the Alabama Commissioner of Insurance on Tuesday, December 4, 2001, at the offices of the Alabama Department of Insurance, 201 Monroe Street, Suite 1700, Montgomery, Alabama, as follows:
- Beginning at 10:00 AM, Case No. C-2001-101R
The proposed loss costs and rating values for the workers compensation voluntary market and the assigned risk rates and rating values as filed and requested by the National Council on Compensation Insurance. The filing proposes an overall average decrease of 7.6%.
- Beginning at 10:30 AM, Case No. C-2001-102R
The proposed loss costs and rating values for the workers compensation voluntary market and the assigned risk rates and rating values for coal mine classifications as filed and requested by the National Council on Compensation Insurance. The filing is to reflect the impact of rules changes to the Federal Coal Mine Health and Safety Act.
Any persons so desiring may submit a written statement in favor of or against the proposed changes in rates and may, in addition, make an oral statement at the hearings.
