Bill Allen Evans, age 87, of 435 Salco Road died Friday afternoon when fire destroyed his home. The fire was reported at 4:22 PM. The specific cause for the fire has not been released.
The fire and death are currently under investigation by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences and the State Fire Marshals Office.
