A Friday afternoon fire at the Curry Chapel CME Church resulted in a total loss of the church and contents.
Several Morgan County fire departments responded to the fire at 154 Curry Chapel Road; Valhermosa, around 3:16 PM July 28th . Eyewitnesses to the fire stated the fire began immediately after a hole was drilled in the soffit of the building.
