An early morning fire in Jasper resulted in minor damage to a building occupying two businesses.
The fire at 1807 4th Avenue in Jasper was reported at approximately 2:30 this morning. The fire was confined to the front of the building by a Jasper Police Officer who extinguished the fire using a portable fire extinguisher.
The building is occupied by Vision Enterprises, Inc. and Communications Plus. No injuries resulted.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Jasper Fire and Police Department along with the State Fire Marshals Office.
