A Friday night fire at First Baptist Church heavily damaged the sanctuary and office area of the church.
The Anniston Fire Department responded to the fire at 105 West 15th Street at 11:18 PM September 15th. Responding firefighters were able to save the building, although damage was extensive.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Anniston Fire and Police Departments, and the State Fire Marshals Office.
