(Unauthorized) Insurance Companies Import

The Alabama Department of Insurance has mandated the use of ALDOI Surplus Line System for Surplus Lines (Unauthorized) Insurance Companies. ALDOI Surplus Line System has been developed to facilitate state specific data reporting.

Surplus Lines (Unauthorized) Insurers will no longer email or attach data files in OPTins. Insurers are required to electronically import data files into the online system. IMPORTANT: Please view instructions for Importing Data Files For Surplus Line Insurers at https://aldoi.gov/SurplusLineWeb/PDF/SLUnauthorizedInsuranceCompaniesDataImportInstructions.pdf to ensure data is accurately received.
